Title:Cracking the Code of Chronic Stress: Innovative Approaches to Inflammation-Driven Diseases and Personalized Patient Care

Oral Presentation

Abstract

There is already extensive scientific literature linking chronic stress to an increased risk of coronary heart disease (1, 2), depression (3), autoimmune diseases, upper respiratory infections, and even poor wound healing (4). Similarly, for years, scientists have speculated that gastrointestinal disorders, such as Crohn's disease and ulcerative colitis, are associated with stress and chronic inflammation (5). It is postulated that low-grade inflammation caused by stress, occurring both peripherally and centrally, is a common ground for a wide range of chronic diseases. By disrupting immune system balance, it may trigger or worsen the course of many diseases, including cancer. Similarly, we have extensive literature on stress level markers, including biochemical tests and cortisol (6). It should not be forgotten that our response to stress has a multifactorial basis, where genetic predispositions, the rate of aging, and lifestyle also play significant roles (7).

The prepared presentation is an attempt to link the results of genetic, hormonal, psychological testing, and biometric monitoring to create individualized protocols for working with the patient at both the medical and psychological levels. The presentation also includes practical advice on working with the patient and the results of follow-up studies after implementing appropriate interventions.
