Sex Differences in Autophagy and mTOR Inhibition: A New Frontier in Anti- Ageing Therapies
Dr. Yu-Xuan Lu is an ageing scientist at the Max Planck Institute for Biology of Ageing. His work centres on uncovering the biological mechanisms of
ageing and developing pharmacological interventions to improve late-life health. He is particularly known for his research on the drug rapamycin
as an anti-ageing reagent. Additionally, he has proposed next-generation precision longevity interventions based on biological sex differences. His
contributions have been recognized with prestigious awards, including EMBO fellowship and European Crucible for future research leaders. He has
also been honoured as one of the "Talents for Germany".
